Concert Series 2009-2010
The University of Rochester Men's Glee Club will be performing in our sanctuary on Friday, March 19 at 7:30 PM. The U of R Men’s Glee Club is one of the oldest organized music ensembles affiliated with the University, as well as one of the oldest ensembles of this type at any American university. The vocal ensemble was formed and established in 1876, and has been in existence in some form ever since. In the 1940’s, the ensemble won the National Glee Club Championship, and performed for President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. During the 1960’s, the group was featured on the Ed Sullivan Show. It was in the late 90’s that the ensemble combined with the U of R Women’s Glee Club to form the University Choir and in 2005, the ensemble broke away from that format and was resurrected as strictly a “men’s ensemble

March 14: Walking the Bible, Biblical Anthropology VHS and guided discussion with Theresa and Max Jeane.
Wednesday Bible Study
Begins February 31 at 11:00 AM, Join us as we take an in-depth look at the Book of Acts. Through reading, research, discussion and study, this small group delves deeply into God’s word, its meaning in the context of our times, and how to apply it in our daily lives. The Bible and Handel's Messiah explores the scriptural texts of Handel's Messiah and includes musical commentary.
