 The First Baptist Church Book Club is an informal gathering of people interested in expanding their horizons by reading and enjoying good fellowship.
We meet at the church at 11:30 a.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Over lunch, the group discusses a current book previously selected by the club members. The range of literature includes fiction, non-fiction and biography. New participants are always welcome.
The next meeting is on February 28 at 11:30 AM, when we will discuss Ladder of Years by Anne Tyler. It is a novel about a mature woman who attempts to establish a new life. Everyone is welcome to bring a sandwich and join the group.
