An American Baptist Church

...but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the
blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from
all sin.   I John 1:7

Fellowship

In the biblical story of the feeding of the 5,000, Jesus has compassion for the crowd of people who have followed him and stops to teach and heal. When the disciples want to send the people away at supper time Jesus wants to feed them. Three of the four Gospels report Jesus saying to the disciples, "You give them something to eat."

The Fellowship Ministry provides opportunities to form relationships within our church family. As in the time of Jesus, the elements of fellowship -- getting to know each other, supporting, encouraging, and comforting each other -- often include food! Here is a sampling of our activities in which you can be involved:

Coffee Hour
Bring your smile and provide refreshments for church members and guests after worship.

Memorial Receptions
Be a part of the church's gift of hospitality and comfort to the bereaved.

Social Events
Plan and coordinate congregational events such as: the meal for the Maundy Thursday service, the church picnic, etc.
