"Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest," Jesus said to the multitude surrounding him (Matthew 11:28).
First Baptist Church joined with a Brighton coalition of ten other churches to build a Habitat house in the summer of 2005. We contributed labor and money to provide a more stable home for a young single mother with special needs children. Future Habitat "builds" are planned.
