Library Ministry
The FBC Library Committee is encouraging all the members and friends who enjoy reading to choose a book from our church library to enjoy. We are pleased to let you know we have completed our library rennovation and we are now full automated and set up with the Dewey Decimal system.
We have added various new books to the library including various fiction and biographical works to our adult books. In our youth books, we have added biographies and popular current books. We also have added several picture books to our children's section. There are numerous DVD's and CD's for your enjoyment as well.

In Memory of Elinore Hoven Basnett
November 7, 1921 - September 11, 2006
Since joining the First Baptist Church of Rochester in 1958, Elinore Basnett remained an active member for over 50 years. She served as Sunday school teacher, deacon, trustee, and moderator. She became the church librarian in 1971, and served faithfully until her retirement in 2005. This library is named in her honor for recognition of her faithful services.
On Rally Day Sunday, September 14, 2008, the Elinore Basnett Library was dedicated.
