On Sunday mornings we invite you to join us at First Baptist Church to worship our Lord, for the scriptures tell us in John 4:23 "But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such as these to worship him."
At 9:50 a.m the church family and friends gather in the sanctuary as the musicians play to reflect and mediate in preparation for worship. Worship begins after the chime of the hour at 10:00 a.m. and concludes following the postlude. We have a traditional service with a few contemporary elements. Our music ranges from classical to spirituals, from contemporary to traditional.
Our nursery is located in the hallway opposite the kitchenette, past the library entrance. We have a dedicated staff of workers who nurture and provide lessons, songs, crafts, a snack and lots of tender loving care for our infants and toddlers. The nursery is available from 9:30 a.m. through the conclusion of second hour classes or special church events of the day.
