The First Baptist Church of Rochester life is centered around worship and music. Each Sunday and on several special occasions throughout the year, we gather together in the sanctuary, chapel, or our fellowship hall for a time of reflection, praise, adoration, prayer, singing, study, and giving. We would be honored to share with you our deep love for God, our commitment to bringing others to Jesus Christ, and our faith in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our Worship Service is at 10:00 am with coffee hour afterwards at 11:00 am.

If we have prepared ourselves for an encounter with God, we are energized to give praise to God for calling us "out of darkness into the marvelous light." Our corporate praise takes many forms in an attempt to provide everyone ways to connect to His presence. Liturgists and the congregation share words of prayer and praise from scripture. The children come for prayer and reflection, and the Children's Choir may sing.
Our praise draws us together into a family of faith as we sing hymns and spiritual songs to God. We sing vigorously, aware of the unique spiritual unity that music enables. A choral anthem, solo, or bell choir selection reveals the connection between beauty and the spiritual life.
